I watched Mr. Rich sitting at the piano and waited in anticipation to hear the warm, rhythmic voice I'd grown so familiar with over the years. Needless to say, it was a beautiful sonic adventure; a wonderful and heartfelt performance. I walked up to him and handed him my CD, "The Upside", after the show.... and I wondered if he would listen. He did, and weeks later, on his blog, he posted this:
